She explained, “When she was — like — six months old, I would overfeed her. So when they’re really full, they don’t wake up hungry. She was so big!”

[07/06/2010] Jessica Alba gets decked out in Christian Dior at the designer’s runway show during Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2011 held at Musee Rodin on Monday (July 5) in Paris, France.
The actress looked lovely wearing a Christian Dior summery pink and white strapless dress paired with white heels.
The 29-year-old actress tweeted earlier in the day, “Just arrived back in Paris to see some haute couture fashions! I’m with two of my favorite girlie girls. So excited!”
A few hours later, Jessica shared why she was rushing to the show. “On our way to Dior. Had a hair malfunction running late late late!”

Jessica Alba Launches Global Education Campaign

The goal of the campaign is to make education the lasting legacy of the FIFA 2010 World Cup. As Honorary U.S. Co-Chair of 1GOAL, Alba has just returned from a trip to Africa to see how U.S. funding for global education is changing the lives of children in developing countries.

Jessica Alba Joins Tribeca Panel

[04/15/2010] Jessica Alba is among the jurors announced for this year's Tribeca Film Festival.
Other stars included on the panel of 35 filmmakers, actors, screenwriters, journalists and media figures are Aaron Eckhart, Curb Your Enthusiasm's Cheryl Hines, America Ferrera, Alicia Keys, Zach Braff, American Splendor's Hope Davis, Pleasantville director Gary Ross, Whoopi Goldberg and Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Tribeca festival co-founder Jane Rosenthal said: "This year's jury features the same impressive range and depth as our films playing in competition."
She continued: "They are distinctive and accomplished storytellers, artists and entrepreneurs from the worlds of film, theatre, culture, fashion, television and new media - all of whom share a passion for film, a thirst for discovery and a spirit of independence."
The 2010 festival runs from April 21 until May 2.
Winners in the world narrative, world documentary, New York narrative, New York documentary, narrative short and documentary and student short film categories will be announced at the awards night party on April 29.
Together, the six juries will award 130,000 dollars in cash and prizes, as well as a piece of original art to each winner as part of the Tribeca Film Festival Artists Awards programme.

Jessica Alba Plans to Adopt

[04/05/2010] Jessica Alba revealed that she plans to adopt on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," where she had a guest appearance. Alba, 28, said she was "totally inspired" by a family who adopted 13 children but where living in a trailer on the television show. "If you have the love, and the capacity to love children, you should just adopt. And I plan on doing it," she said. Alba has one daughter with husband Cash Warren, named Honor Marie.

[04/01/2010] Jessica Alba will serve as a guest judge on tonight's episode of Project Runway. The Fantastic Four actress will join Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia to help assess the remaining designers' creations at the runway show. Six contestants remain in the running to scoop an editorial spread in Marie Claire, a cash prize of 0,000, a ,000 technology suite and the opportunity to sell their designs on Bluefly. Other guest judges to appear this season include Molly Sims, Nicole Richie, Lauren Hutton, Matthew Williamson and Georgina Chapman. Project Runway airs tonight at 10pm ET/PT on Lifetime.

On husband Cash Warren: “We’re similar in some ways and opposites in others. We’re similar in social situations - we’re both open. But he’s not crazy about movies and I am. He doesn’t like cooking and I do. He loves sport and I don’t. Well, I do but I’d rather not watch it for 12 hours a day - then watch the highlights at the end!”
On Equality in Hollywood: “I believe there’s going to be more equality, and if women take on the attitude of lifting each other up instead of being competitive with each other, it’ll be better for all of us. There are amazing actresses - Zoe Saldana, Drew Barrymore, Julia Roberts, Jessica Biel, Eva Mendes - so I’m all about supporting each other to succeed. A lot of women are so concerned with society telling us that we need to emulate this persona - like, if you’re a mum you act like this, and if you-re the girl next door you have to act like that. I was focused on making money and trying to stay relevant. I never bucked the system. But now I feel I can have more control and I want to play women who are strong and independent, who are completely flawed and have problems but that’s OK.”

Jessica Alba Happy With Cellulite

[01/25/2010] The 'Fantastic Four' actress has learned to love her imperfections because they remind her of the joy she experienced when pregnant with her daughter Honor Marie, now 18 months old.
She said: "Even though some might consider them a flaw, I've learned to love my stretch marks. Pregnancy was the most incredible experience I've ever had. So I'll take the stretch marks. I'll take the sagging boobs. I'll take the cellulite I can never get rid of. If you walk around with your head held high and you're happy and positive, then all that other stuff is irrelevant. Confidence is number one."
The 28-year-old beauty - who is married to film producer Cash Warren - also revealed she hopes to have more children and dreams of settling down with her family in the South of France.
She explained to Self magazine: "My mother-in-law has lived there for more than 20 years, and she has a beautiful set-up. I want to be able to allow Honor and my other kids, who I hope to be blessed with in the future, to maintain their innocence for as long as possible. There is so much time to be an adult."
Jessica loves every aspect of motherhood and says having Honor has helped her to stop being so critical of herself.

Jessica Alba Wants A New Baby

[03/20/2009] New mom Jessica Alba loves motherhood so much that she's reportedly trying for second baby with husband Cash Warren.
The couple welcomed daughter Honor Marie into the world last June, and Alba has taken to the role of full-time parent.
She has revealed in the past she wants more than one kid, and insiders claim she has put her career on hold to try and conceive in 2009.
A source tells the National Enquirer, "Jessica and Cash are working overtime to get pregnant. She and Cash are boasting that they love being parents and are determined to expand their family as soon as possible."
